By nature, I am a very introverted person so sharing personal thoughts this open for the world to see is rather nerve-racking. However, I really like to write and I do not want to die without my writing having a chance to affect this universe.
Now to start things off, you might be wondering where the name Cosmic Latte came from. Researchers at John Hopkins University gathered light data from over 200,000 galaxies and averaged out the spectrums to see what the “average color of the universe” was. They arrived at the tripled hex digit of #FFF8E7 which follows.
I was in love with the name upon first hearing it. I love coffee and I am deeply fascinated by the universe, so to see these two come together was immediately captivating. It got me thinking what exactly would a cosmic latte taste like? I imagine the most comforting cup of a perfectly balanced mixture of the richest espresso with the purest of gently steamed milk, of which encompasses the knowledge of the entire universe in a way that each sip induces the awe I experience of looking up into the breathtaking cosmos on a clear summer night. I hope to provide at least one person with that experience via my writing. So let’s get cosmic!
